For fans of Abruzzo cuisine, the best products and the most authentic flavors of regional gastronomy
The restaurant
In 1986 Lanfranco Centofanti and Maria Teresa Lucangeli opened L’Angolo d’Abruzzo with the idea of offering simple dishes based on seasonality and tradition.
Since then, the restaurant’s path is synonymous with respect for the land, for sheep farming and for sustainable agriculture. Also synonymous of profound respect for the guest, who are served daily products, depending on what is found by the farmer. In short, a return to the cuisine of the area, with the style that Lanfranco loves to define agropastorale, a style that has made it the reference point of the Abruzzo restaurant.
The winery, founded in 1986, full of thousands of vintage bottles, produced by the best Italian and foreign wineries, is constantly revisited and updated with the latest news, rejecting the fashions of the moment, but focusing on quality and winemaking expertise.
Currently it offers a selection of over 2,000 national and international labels, with particular attention to Abruzzo wines.
Labels and carefully selected vintages to create the maximum depth of the cellar In this paradise for enthusiasts there are rarities such as Barbaresco Gaja ’61, Sassicaia ’72, Chateau Petrus ’78, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Valentini ’75, Vintage Tunina ’91 Jermann, Coulèe De Serrant ’86. Also for the distillates we go from Serafino Levi’s grappas, to the great Calvados of over 50 years, Glen Grant of ’59, Saint James 1885 (the oldest collector’s item).
Restaurant of the highest level, hardly equaled...

Valerio Centofanti
Valerio Centofanti was born on 11 May 1980 in Avezzano (AQ). In 2000, after finishing his studies, he always approached the world of cooking where he had always lived since he was a child. He notices so much fun between pots and pans.
His youthful curiosity led him to attend various pastry courses and to wander around to learn modern techniques and secrets, to be merged with the tradition learned by mother Teresa and dad Lanfranco.
The goal of Valerio is to get to what he likes to call “the continuity of flavors” of this corner of Abruzzo
